Jenn’s Story

Born and raised in New Orleans, Jenn grew up with a love and appreciation for design. The historic architecture, gorgeous homes, southern charm and hospitality at its finest, became a part of Jenn and how she designs.

But first, a little more about Jenn…

Starting at age 2, she fell in love with dance. Jenn attended daily dance classes, participated in competitive dance, and performed in community theaters in New Orleans where she was bitten by the “theater bug”.

She attended The George Washington University in Washington, DC (where she met her husband, Brad), studied Communications and competed on the dance team. After graduation, she moved to New York City to pursue her dream to dance professionally. She achieved that goal and was honored to perform throughout the country in shows such as, 42nd Street, Cats, A Chorus Line, Hairspray and more. She had a profession that was her passion and brought her great enjoyment!

Brad and Jenn married, moved to Baltimore, where they currently reside, and were blessed with two baby boys. Their goals changed and she hung up her professional dance shoes to focus on her family.

Over time, Jenn realized she was missing a creative outlet and after designing her current home, she felt that exciting “spark” again with Interior Design. She loved every aspect of making her current house a warm, sophisticated and elegant home. She attended Design School while simultaneously working as an assistant to an experienced and successful Interior Designer. Working with the client and selecting their design needs, gave Jenn the same excitement that performing on stage offered.

Thus, a new chapter began with the launch of Jenn Cameron Interiors.

Jenn Cameron Interiors is a full-service Interior Design Studio designing spaces that the clients will love and remain authentic to them. She works with the client to understand their desired style and how to make the home functional and attractive.

Inspired from her New Orleans upbringing, Jenn incorporates southern charm and elegance when appropriate, and edgy elements when they need that “pop.” She loves incorporating family heirlooms with current trends. Jenn embraces calming hues in the bedroom and a statement piece in the family room. She wants her clients to have a home that is family-friendly and practical but yet, luxurious. She enjoys moving pieces in the home to find the optimal place, while also adding new elements that make one smile when walking by. She believes in working with the clients to express their style through textures, colors and pieces in a room.

Jenn truly loves what she does and has found the career that excites her the same way performing on the stage did. Interior Design allows Jenn the flexibility to pursue a creative and professional outlet, while still having time for her family. She wakes up every day excited to “create a home that is authentic to her client.”
